16/02/2026 Plot 76, where the post boxes are located next to O Foral restaurant, has now been sold.
The new owners have informed the Association that they are prepared to allow the post boxes to remain in their current location in a fenced off part of the plot.
They have also indicated that they are prepared to allow the Association to install some additional boxes for members who request it. This will need to be planned and managed over the coming months.
The Association will also approach the local authorities to ask for their support to manage and maintain this area.
In the meantime, a temporary fence will be put up to separate the area from the main plot.
We will send a separate message to those who have given the Association spare keys for their boxes, and we will keep you informed of the progress. There have been several messages sent to the individual members of the committee requesting post boxes or making suggestions about the location.
Please be aware that we are some way off deciding on the location and position of individual boxes, ease of access, etc. The main purpose of the notice was to inform everyone that there will soon be a temporary fence and the reason for it.
Could we please ask that you send any requests or messages regarding the post boxes as a reply to the email that was sent, so that the Association can keep a record of them.
As soon as more definitive information becomes available, we will share it with everyone.
